LINCOLN COUNTY’S GOT TALENT! TOP TEN & FRIENDS CONCERT:

Fundraiser at Toledo High School

Saturday, March 17th

4pm – 6pm

Student singers and musicians will be arriving from all over Lincoln County to perform at Toledo High School, on Saturday afternoon, March 17th from 4 pm to 6 pm.   Casey Rilatos, Evan Church, Faith Wood, Saoirse Crone, Fulton Miller and singing group, Room Temperature, are on the program.   You won’t want to miss this very talented group of young people!  James and Julz Kasner will be there to talk about 2012 Burnt WoodStock !

Suggested donation is $5 or 5 cans of food for the Toledo Food Pantry.  All donations help provide housing expense for homeless or nearly homeless families with youth.

This is the first in a series of fundraising youth concerts being held at high schools county-wide before the end of the 2011-2012 school year.  Each concert is hosted by a student and the performers are students who have auditioned and / or were advanced to the Finale of the 2012 “Lincoln County’s Got Talent!” held at the Newport Performing Arts Center on February 4, 2012.

Vocalists, dancers and musicians, ages 7 through 18, will take the stage once again to perform your favorite acts.

A silent auction of beautiful photographic artwork by Jaylene Manitopyes, 13, will be displayed and available for bid at intermission.

Suggested donation:  $5 or 5 cans of food for the Lincoln City Food Pantry ( or both ! )

Register Now for AUDITIONS !

Lincoln County youth, ages 6 to 18, are invited to audition for the 3rd Annual
“LINCOLN COUNTY’S GOT TALENT!”

  • WHO: Students with ANY talent act are encouraged to participate including, but not limited to singers, bands, poets, drama or comedy skits, mimes, dancers and musicians.
  • WHERE: Newport Performing Arts Center Studio, 777 West Olive Street
  • WHEN: Saturday, November 12th, 10 AM to 3 PM
  • HOW: Call 541.765.4558 to preregister. No application and no charge.

Five judges will select 20 contestants to return to the PAC for a second audition on Saturday, December 3rd from 3 PM to 5 PM from which 10 will be chosen for the Finale in February, 2012.
The “LINCOLN COUNTY’S GOT TALENT!” Finale will take place on Saturday, February 4, 2012, 7 PM at the Newport Performing Arts Center. The top 5 performers will receive prizes compliments of the local business community.

“Lincoln County’s Got Talent!” Spring Concert

The Homeless Youth Alliance of Lincoln County will present LINCOLN COUNTY’S GOT TALENT! TOP TEN CONCERT on Sunday, May 22, 2011, at the Taft High School Commons from 4pm until 6pm. This is not a competition but a celebration of our students’ winning talents!  Performers from the 2010 and 2011 “Lincoln County’s Got Talent!” finales will entertain the public.  The line-up of talented students includes 2010 winner, Pat Delantar of Taft Elementary, 2011 winner, Squeezeplay (consisting of  Mike and Kristy Morris of LCSDA), Moonlapse (Andrew Johnson, Scott Cusick and Jay Gassner) of Newport HS, Jason Mickel of Waldport HS, Cesarina DiBlasi of LCSDA, Faith Wood of Taft HS and Leah Flores of Career Tech HS.  Adult admission is only $3 or 3 cans of food and only $1 or 1 can of food for students and seniors.  Proceeds of the concert will help the Homeless Youth Alliance of Lincoln County provide housing for homeless families with children, while the food will be donated to the Lincoln City Food Pantry. Bring your checkbook – there will also be a silent auction of several beautiful photography works by 12 year old Jaylene Manitopyes, a student of Siletz Valley Charter School. Bring your family, friends and neighbors because no one will want to miss this exciting reunion of remarkably talented singers and musicians ranging in age from 11 to 17 years.
